FIND MORE AGENTS IN FORMER USSR COUNTRIES

Most successful schools have a number of qualified agents in major cities of Russia like Moscow, St.Petersburg etc. The problem is that there are no specialized educational agencies in numerous smaller Russian towns in remote parts of the country, especially in Siberia and in the Far East of Russia.
If you decide to create a network of your representatives all over Russia it will cost you a fortune – it is almost impossible for a small or middle-sized language school to invest so heavily in their marketing activities in one country.

However there are many established tourist agencies that may have occasional requests for educational programmes from their regular customers. They are not specialists in language travel but they can easily handle simple requests (like 4 weeks’ general English course for a teenager or an adult student) in case they get expert advice regarding the programmes, accommodation options, enrolment conditions, payments, cancellations etc. It is possible that they shouldn’t even speak English – we would help them with all the procedures. They might send you only 1 or 2 students per year, however if you have dozens of local representatives it may significantly increase the number of your Russian students. Of course they may even have requests for long-term studies – in this case one booking may cover all your possible marketing expenses.

All they need is information in the Russian language and clear instructions regarding payments, paperwork etc. You don’t even have to communicate with them explaining simple things – we would be happy to do it for you.

- to send e-mail letters to Russian tourist companies (which have official registration and proper tourist licenses), asking them whether they are interested in representing your school in their region;

- to send detailed information in Russian to the agencies that are really interested;

- to mail your brochures and registration forms in the Russian language or to provide you with agencies’ addresses so that you could arrange your own delivery;

- to translate your brochure and/or other relevant information into Russian (if necessary);

- to deal with the enquiries from tourist agencies addressing your potential students and helping you avoid problems connected with unrealistic high expectations or cultural differences;

- to provide expert advice regarding medical insurance, air tickets bookings, visa application process so that the student has maximum chances to get his/her student visa successfully.
